Let us tell you a little more about Scale University's model train accessories and supplies... We are a Maine based company located in Exeter, Maine. We were formed in 2000 from a prior source of O scale, and HO Scale model train accessories and supplies producing Model train ballasts, Model train grasses, Model train coal, Model train structures, Model train soils, Model train animals, and a few other scenic products coupled with a line of cast figures for your model trains including animals and other unique model train accessories.
From our humble beginnings making ballast, coal, grasses and soils, we have expanded our line to include several hundred items in O, HO and now in Z scales. We proudly became a Marklin and Trix dealer in 2006 and beginning in September of 2008, we now offer Weaver 1/4" scale products to our O scale customers.
We carry cast metal, hand-painted, HO scale animals made right here in Maine by Dyna-Models. They have been making these products since 1946. We also have a few of their craftsman HO kits. All of our laser-cut kits are made in the USA! We pride ourselves on getting orders out the same day if possible, or the next day. Orders are shipped by US Mail or UPS, depending on the zone and weight.
We are constantly adding new items to our line. However, many things you see today may not be available in the future, especially die-cast items by Corgi. Most of these items are limited editions. So if you see it and want it, get it now! Don't wait. You may be disappointed later, so sure you come back to visit regularly because we may get something in that you are looking for in particular.
